Claws & Paws is very active in the Pearland, and surrounding areas, communities. We can be found at the City of Pearland’s Paws in the Parkin March, Picnic on the Parkway in August, Trick or Treat Trail in October, and participating in the Hometown Christmas Festival in December. We regularly have press releases and short helpful articles in the Pearland/Friendswood Journal and provide free educational videos and seminars to the community.
When other communities have a need, such as West, Texas and Moore, Oklahoma disasters, we team up with the other veterinarians in the community to provide any kind of relief we are able to provide. We accepted donations from the community for Moore, OK and the supplies were driven to their community for assistance. With the incident in West, TX, the supplies were collected and driven to West by one of the staff members at Claws & Paws Veterinary Hospital.
In addition to these things, our doctors and staff help out at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church, when they have their Bless the Pet event as well as doctor’s participating in career days at other local elementary schools in the Pearland ISD.
We also constantly work on educational materials at Claws & Paws Veterinary Hospital to help educate the community at large. Some of our on-going projects include:
