A search on will show over 10,000 published studies on various Essential Oils.
Essential Oils WebOur hospital uses Essential Oil formulas created by veterinarian Dr. Melissa Shelton, from a well-respected company, animalEO. Her Essential oil selections and formulations have been well utilized and their safety documented with over 6 years of daily use, veterinary exams, and laboratory monitoring of every species of animal. Previously thought to be unsafe for some animals, safety in the proper use of Essential Oils has been documented for many species of animals.
Essential Oils can be diffused, placed directly on the animal’s body, given orally, and even placed in the litter box! Some oils have powerful antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Others help with anxiety, arthritis, allergies, upper respiratory symptoms, gastro-intestinal disease, boost the immune system, infections, inflammation and infection — just to name a few.
Essential Oils are safe to use with other treatments and can even be used on their own for animals that cannot tolerate strong medications or to replace products that may be harmful to animals.
