Dorian has been in Veterinary Practice Management since 1996 and joined us at Claws & Paws in March 2012. He has managed Emergency Clinics and General Practices with both private- and corporate-owned facilities.
Dorian returned to school and received his B.B.A. with an emphasis in Marketing in 2007. Dorian loves Marketing and is a key component is Claws & Paws staying ahead of the competition in technology through our online visibility.
In addition to the marketing component of his job, Dorian continues to build relationships with other organizations in the animal field, including creating and managing the Pearland Veterinary Managers Group, working closely with the leaders and instructors of the local veterinary technician and assistant schools to help develop future veterinary professionals.
Dorian enjoys spending time with his family; which includes his wife, Christina, daughter, Morgan, exchange student son, Cesare (pronounced Chesa-rae), three dogs and one cat (who is clearly in charge of the dogs).
Some of his hobbies include Traveling, Genealogy and coaching youth sports. Dorian is also very involved in his church (NewHopeChurch.tv) as an active volunteer and leads a weekly Men’s Bible Study. In addition to this, Dorian also owns and operates his own photography business, TexasDorian Photography. He is a Texas Native and loves his state (much like any true Texan). Did we mention he is a history buff? He is responsible for most of the staff photos as well as the pet mural on the wall in the lobby. In addition to these, he is a co-founder of a local 501(c)3 Organization, Pearland Pets, which directly supports the local Pearland Animal Shelter.
Additionally, Dorian runs a veterinary mentoring/coaching business, MyVetMentor where he mentors to other veterinary staff around the country.
