Kaitlyn was born in Houston Texas and raised in League City. She is a 2011 graduate of Clear Creek High School.
She attended the Vet Tech Institute of Houston and graduated in 2016. She is currently working towards her veterinary technician license. Kaitlyn joined Claws & Paws Veterinary Hospital® Veterinary Technician team in September 2018. Prior to joining Claws & Paws, she worked at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, in Houston, in the diagnostic imaging department. It was there that she learned a lot about, not only taking diagnostic radiographs, CTs and MRIs but, also about specialty veterinary medicine as a whole.
Kaitlyn’s long-term goal is to return to school to acquire her Associates Degree as a Cardiac Sonographer, so that she can apply her studies to veterinary medicine. She has always loved animals and her step-dad and family friend, who is a veterinarian, saw her devotion for animals and helped her find my passion in veterinary medicine.
She has two cats, Luna and Pearl and a dog (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) named Charley. She got engaged to be married in 2018 and has a scheduled date in September 2019. In her spare time she like to watch sports and watch my fiancé coach select baseball. She also likes to spend time with friends and family. She really love working at Claws & Paws; she loves the clients and the atmosphere of the hospital. She says she would not want to work anywhere else.
